Marriages In Indian Tribal Villages

Marriage is the most significant social event in Indian families. Marriage ceremonies in Indian villages are more elaborate and rituals are very strictly followed unlike the city marriages. Mostly arranged marriages are conducted in villages. The bride and groom would not have set their eyes on each other till the day of marriage, but are still united in the most intimate relationship as husband and wife.
Their ceremonies are long and elaborate. The family members along with their friends and relatives even from far away villages attend the wedding. In ancient villages, pre-puberty marriages were arranged and conducted. But in modern India pre puberty marriage is a crime and a legal issue. Child marriages are totally banned in India now. Custom of Dowry was a major social evil and a bitter battle to fight for the parents of girl children but it is not practiced so rigidly in the modern India. Indian marriages have gone through so many major changes in the last few decades.
Their colorful wedding costumes are in tune with their green surroundings. The women deck themselves with heavy tribal jewellary. Big nose rings, heavy chains and thick bangles are the common ornaments. The hair is decorated with small pieces of silver jewellary. Bangles are compulsory as it is very degrading for women to be seen without them. Most of the tribal jewellary is made in silver and they are heavy and chunky.

Going On A First Date?

Congratulations! You have made the first move and succeeded! You have invited and your invitation is accepted! Now what? Now you are sure worried. You don’t want to stop with the first date! You have to create a good impression. How to go about it? Well! Here are some useful tips just to pep you up with good feelings!
First date in anyone’s life will remain in memory throughout one’s life. So, like for anything else, prepare well and equip yourself in advance to do well. You are sure to experience the adrenal rush up, excitement and anticipation!
Well! You have discussed the meeting places and chosen one that suits you both and agreed upon. Now you have to decide about what you are going to wear. Wear something you generally wear and you are comfortable wearing it. Be yourself and don’t try to be someone else by the way you dress. You are in the process of getting to know each other, within the time available. Make the best out of it. You cannot waste it just waiting for the other party to ask a question and you stop with just answering. Wait again not knowing who is going to ask the next question. That style won’t work! It has to be a smooth going comfortable communication and not a question and answer session. So the best way to keep it going is asking the other person something – say, about family, education or hobbies so that the other one can talk about it. The best subject one wants to talk about is about oneself. Give him or her chance to open up and listen. Listen well! Being good listener shows you understand and that is a good foundation to build any relationship on. Good luck to both of you!

It is situated on the Nepal – China – Tibet border, in the Himalayas, and stands 8848 metres tall. Everest was discovered by chance when the Great Trigonometric Survey of India by the British were documenting the mountains in India. It was previously thought that K2 or Kanchenjunga was the tallest in the world, but during one of the surveys, one of the officials, John Armstrong noticed a peak that seemed to be taller. It took nearly twenty five years to get an accurate reading of the height, because Nepal would not allow Britishers into their country, fearing political aggression.
Mount Everest is a favourite among mountaineers and climbers, due to its relative ease of ascent. Other peaks such as the K2 or Nanga Parbat are much more difficult to scale. Around two thousand seven hundred people have climbed Mount Everest, making it one of the more popular climbing options. Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first to climb to the summit, in 1953. Since then, Mount Everest has attracted thousands of mountaineering enthusiasts, in spite of the high costs involved, which can be up to $25,000, to obtain a permit.

Taxation

Wealth can never be created by the governments. So, this is the reason why the government has to take a part of the earnings earned by the citizens. The main way the government does this is Taxation. The payment of money on a regular basis is called Taxation. The money collected by the mean of taxation is pooled in to general fund, from which the expenses related to the government is paid .There are also other effective forms of collecting money by the government. One example of collection of money is that the collecting money for selling of license plates and also charging money for giving license to license holders. The operating fees collected for conducting businesses, license for pets, and also charges for parking lots are also different types of taxing people. The other way of collecting money or revenue is to borrow. The best example of this is selling of treasury bills, which is issued as public bonds and securities. The governments of state and local body sell treasury bills to generate money for different
purposes such as constructing public schools, public hospitals and national highways. Though borrowing is not considered as taxing the people, it has the same effect on the people i.e. it diverts private savings and
investments into the public expenditure.
